
Dr. Emad Al-hammadin
Dr. Al-hammadin holds a PhD in Political Science, specializing in Security and Strategic Studies, from the University of South Australia. This advanced degree complements a distinguished academic trajectory that includes two master’s degrees from Macquarie University: one in Political Science and Security Studies, and another in Policing, Intelligence, and Counter-Terrorism. He began his academic career with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Military Sciences from Mu’tah University (Military Wing).
Dr. Al-hammadin is currently a full-time researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. He has also served as a principal lecturer at the Royal Jordanian National Defence College, in addition to working as a research assistant at the University of South Australia. In parallel, Dr. Al-Hamadineh is a co-founder and managing director of a security consulting firm in Australia, and a former security policy advisor to the New South Wales Police. This consultancy experience is grounded in a solid foundation of operational competence acquired through his military career.
Dr. Al-hammadin’s research and professional interests focus on the development and analysis of strategies to counter violent extremism and terrorism, the strengthening of national security frameworks, and the promotion of regional stability. He also has a strong interest in the evolving intersection between technology and security, particularly the applications of artificial intelligence in defence systems, and continues to engage in the analysis of defence policies and security-related data, he is also accredited as a reviewer for indexed (Q1) journals
