The Center for Strategic Studies aims to conduct studies in the political, military, economic and social aspects of issues of interest to Jordan and the Arab world, related to the security of the region, and affect its future, in addition to conducting opinion polls, with the aim of providing researchers and policy makers with the necessary facts and data, and organizing events and activities such as seminars and conferences.

Main duties

Conducting studies and research in various aspects of the country and the region as they relate to the objectives of the Center.
Conducting regional studies and presenting intellectual, social, economic, political and military positions.
Gathering information, studies, reports, surveys and statistics that achieve the center’s objectives.
Monitoring, recording and documenting events related to Jordan and the Arab world.
Providing consultations that comply with the center’s objectives.
Conducting public opinion polls and field surveys.
Organizing events such as conferences, seminars and courses that concern important local, regional and national issues.
Establishing scientific and bilateral cooperation with similar institutions and other research centers and Arab and foreign institutes that have similar purposes and interests.
Publication of studies and research.
Supervising training programs for Jordanian and foreign university students and graduates and providing them with intellectual and personal aspects.
Emphasis on communication with donors and finding sources of funding and financial security as necessary to implement the Center’s programs and projects.
Improving the reputation of the center.
Issuing a specialized periodical.
Introduce the center’s services to the Jordanian and Arab community as much as possible.
Participation in local, Arab and national conferences, events and meetings related to the work of the center.
Any other tasks or works assigned to him by the Council of the Center.
