The Arab Barometer is one of the most important and largest research projects in the Arab region. It is an independent research network that provides a comprehensive view of the social, political, and economic trends and values of citizens in the Arab world. Since 2006, the network has been conducting high-quality, credible public opinion surveys across the Middle East and North Africa. The results of these surveys, which are conducted in Jordan and the Arab world, receive significant attention from researchers and decision-makers at the highest levels.

Given the deep relationship between the Center for Strategic Studies, the Arab Barometer, and Princeton University, which has extended for more than 15 years, the center is considered one of the founders of this research project and an active member of the steering and technical committees of the institution. Over the past five years, the center has become a key partner in the research projects carried out by the Arab Barometer in Jordan and the Arab world.

The Arab Barometer will conduct the ‘Arab Democracy Index – Eighth Round’ study in collaboration with the Center for Strategic Studies, with a sample size of 2,400 respondents representing Jordanian society.
