The preliminary results were discussed in 1996. After presenting the frameworks and methodology followed by the research, and methods of data collection and analysis, the study discussed the agricultural, socio-economic dimensions and aspects of health and public safety of the environmental reality of the Jordan Valley region. The last chapter of the research discussed the physico-chemical results, and the general description of the soil in the study area, and provided an analysis of the levels of major nutrients in the soil and the content of major elements in the leaves of plants, in addition to the analysis and study of micro nutrients and heavy metals
