Within the framework of the EU-funded programme: “Enhanced Support to Democratic Institutions in Jordan” which consists of four components, this project is part of Component 4, which aims to deepen the role of civil society in contributing to democratic governance and policy-making. The project is in line with the objective of AECID under the EU-JDID program, and aims to develop the capacity of civil society organizations in Jordan. The Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan is the implementing partner of the Qarna Project, which aims to enhance the role of civil society in contributing to democratic transformation and good governance and influencing policy-making.
